The 5 of us don't go out to dinner too much these days. And when we do, we're reminded but the kids why we don't. Except for this one.

Today was the kids' fall party. They decorated cookies, made foam owls, and bowled with gourds. They have an awesome homeroom mom again this year. One of these years she's going to quit and just sit around at the parties like some other moms. (Did I just type that out loud?)
PS - You may have noticed this volleyball shirt a lot lately. It currently falls into the "if it's clean, I want to wear it" category. Ellie tends to have her favorites.

All 3 kids went to the dentist this week. They all got their "just because you're you" token, and their cooperation token. (Don't ask). Rowan bought some mini ninjas. The dentist told him it was time to stop using a paci, which meant nights and naps could be iffy. Rowan loves playing with the ninjas so much, Jon went back to the dentist's office to get some more. They've been a reward for sleeping without a paci.

This is how you walk into gymnastics. Jon also does it quite well, although he's much less likely to demonstrate in front of the camera.
