The big kids were in Kansas City this weekend, so Rowan got Jon all to himself. Sometimes someone is Obi Wan Kanobi, but more than likely they're lesser known jedis like Okoboji or Ob/Gyn.

When Conor and Ellie are dressed and ready for school, (completely ready!) they get to open the advent calendar. So far it's been candy, or a note about what we'll be doing that afternoon.

The kids didn't have school the day before Thanksgiving, and Jon took a half day off, so we were in Cedar Falls in time to go to Z's for supper. The pizza is amazing, and Jon will tell you that's why he likes that place so much.

Here's Ellie's first letter of the year to Santa. "I would like a desk, 20 quistons, clay, 21st century hangman, grow a frog, moon dough, spinart, flexezz, hidden picture and many other things," So there you are. But if anyone gets her moon dough, I'm no longer speaking to them.
