Today was family party day. The weather didn't really cooperate this year, but we still had a fun time! (M-C, you were missed!!)

This is what happens when your Grandma, your aunt and your great-aunt all tell you about your Mom's Grandpa and what he let us do to our cakes. And then your great-aunt goads you on. Notice that this isn't the first lick. (To his credit, he did tell her, after she suggested he take a bite, that you can't take a bite until after they sing to you. Until then you can just lick). This is one of the reasons they each get their own cake.

A whole can of sprinkles, six candles plus a number six candle, three happy birthday signs and eight soccer balls. This is yet another reason they get their own cake.
It really and truly had more frosting on it at the beginning of the day.

Yes, it is almost dark out, but they're looking for birds with Conor's new bird watching kit. I think there are two entries in the notebook already!
