Rowan's two favorite outside activities are mowing the lawn, and being pushed in his car. He has no desire to operate it himself, and fortunately has plenty of volunteers around to push him. He has to make sure he holds his feet up, and I admit to flinching a little when I see it. I have visions of scraped toes, but hopefully we'll avoid them.

Friday was the last day of Vacation Bible School. Both Conor and Ellie had fun this year, and they may actually admit it. We're still listening to the music daily. I'm already tired of it, but still catch myself singing it. At least I don't do the actions.

Conor's afternoon snack - his choice - was crunchy carrots and radishes with ranch. A healthy snack, yes, but a difficult one. Especially when you have no front teeth to speak of.

Rowan and I filled up the pool on Wednesday morning. He was so helpful. The straight from the hose water was too cold for me, but he loved it. I kept telling him we could swim after his nap, so about 10:30 he told me he was ready for nap. I convinced him to eat lunch first, and then he went down about 11:30.

After he woke up, we decided that babies who swim need swim trunks and a hat. I have video of that, but after trying five times to upload it, I'm giving up.

We were outside for quite awhile, and I was the one who got bored. I think we'll try the aquatic center on Friday. I'm guessing I'm pretty busy there.

This is what, the third post about Ellie climbing the rope? Too bad. I'm just so impressed that she can do it that I can't help taking pictures. That, and we don't have much going on around here.

See, the lid is a racetrack. You just move your finger along it and make car noises. It's easy, really.

For your listening pleasure, we present a medley of Rowan-ized songs. We start with the ABCs, move into Itsy Bitsy Spider, then follow with Robin On a Rainy Day.
