On Saturday Jon, Conor and Grandpa Runchey went to a Barnstormers game. It was the first time Conor and Dad had gone, and Jon hadn't been since Kurt Warner played. When they left, the Barnstormers were up by 14, and on the way home Green Bay tied it up. Iowa ended up losing, but they boys still had a good time.

I spent most of the day Friday scrapbooking. I went with a good friend, and we both chatted and got a lot done! Sorry, no pictures of me or my friend. I never think of that in time.

On Wednesday morning, the kids and I went to see Bria (and Jo Dee and Grandma and Grandpa) and then Jon came after work. They hadn't seen her since Spring Break, so they had a lot of catching up to do!

Rowan and Jo Dee.

Rowan was busy playing with Grandpa when Grandma started to empty the dishwasher. He got up as quickly as he could, and said "Oh! Help Grandma"! I wish the other two would learn from him.

Helmets are required at our house, whether you're on a scooter or a bike. Neither C nor E seem to mind all that much, and I don't remember the last time one of them "forgot". In fact, I overheard someone ask Conor why they always had to wear them. Conor answered (with just a touch of "duh" in his voice) that "the doctor can fix your arm. She can't always fix your head". So I guess he was listening last year at his checkup.

This summer, on Mondays, Conor and Ellie take turns picking dinner and helping me make it. This time Conor made tacos. They weren't too bad.

In about six years she's going to be the most requested babysitter on the block. I get first dibs.
