This is how Ellie and her idol spent most of Thanksgiving weekend. My New Year's Resolution for 2008 is to take more pictures. Well, maybe not just more pictures, but pictures more often. This is proof that I'm keeping that resolution!

Lately around here photos have been in sort of a famine mode. Today was a no school day, which usually results in feast.
First of all we had pictures. I won't share all, so that your Christmas cards will be a surprise. This is the best one of all three. Rowan was not happy to be there, but there are no visible tears in this one, so that equals success.

I had such high hopes for this one -kind of a Rowan's point of view. Unfortunately, not only was Rowan not excited about it, the photographer was a dud. We're usually very happy with where we go, but not today. As Jon said, "She had no game." Yucky arrangements, not good with kids.

Bad.

After pictures Jon went back to work, and we did a craft. That means Ellie loved every minute of it. Conor started with us, then got angry because it wasn't working out just like the example. He finished, but not very pleasantly.
And we listened to High School Musical. I'm not sure how much of this is dance moves (inherited from Jon) and how much is balance correction, but he sure had fun!
And no picture on this, just something I want to remember. As I was making dinner Conor and Ellie decided to pick up.(!) Ellie did the upstairs living room, and Conor did the downstairs family room. As he came up the steps, Conor said to her "My gym is done." We've never called it that, but he's right!
